Capps Law Firm, PLLC is Hiring an Associate Attorney to join our Family Law Firm
Based in Northwest Austin, Texas, Capps Law is seeking a divorce and family law associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The associate will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload involving court appearances, legal research, drafting, settlement negotiations, and routine communication with clients. Types of cases will include: divorce, child custody, maintenance, child support, pre-nuptial agreements, and other related family law matters.
This position is full time (40 hours weekly) and based on-site in our Northwest Austin, Texas office. Must be admitted to the Texas State Bar and a member in good standing. The associate should have superior interpersonal and communication skills. Strong legal research and writing skills are needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
- Texas State Bar member in good standing
- Family Law experience in Texas
- Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize and manage work load
- Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills
- Resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
