Capps Law Firm, PLLC is Hiring an Associate Attorney to join our Family Law Firm in Austin, Texas
Based in the Northwest Hills area of Austin, Texas, Capps Law Firm is a family law practice primarily serving Central Texas including Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Liberty Hill, Killeen, Temple, Fort Hood, and Waco.
We are seeking a family law associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience and a license to practice law in Texas. The associate attorney job responsibilities include handling a diverse caseload involving court appearances, legal research, drafting, settlement negotiations, and routine communication with clients. Types of cases will include: divorce, child custody, maintenance, child support, pre-nuptial agreements, and other related family law matters. The person in this role will work independently and be expected to manage his or her own case load.
This position is full time (40 hours weekly) and based on-site in our Northwest Austin, Texas office. The associate must be admitted to the State Bar of Texas, and be a member in good standing. The associate should have superior interpersonal and communication skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
- Texas State Bar member in good standing
- Family Law experience in Texas
- Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize and manage work load
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills
- Resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
